NEW PSYCHOANALYTIC CENTER OPENS IN FLORIDA

Earlier this year, the mental health community of Southwestern Florida and surrounding counties was treated to the grand opening of The Carter-Jenkins Center, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) educational organization.

With the construction of this high-tech teaching, research, and treatment Center in the Tampa Bay area, psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, and mental health counselors located throughout the State now have access to a wealth of psychoanalytically informed programs and resources.

The Carter-Jenkins Center was created through the vision and generosity of the Carter-Jenkins family. It is dedicated to the application of psychoanalytic principles to contemporary societal issues. The Center's commitment to psychoanalysis can be seen in its professional and post-graduate training, community education programs, clinical services, and research endeavors.
